The Tipotsch Family History
Here you can find a short summary of the Tipotsch family history. The Tipotsch family can look back on a long hotel business tradition. The complete history is also available as a book. Manager Michael Tipotsch will gladly give our guests a personal account of past developments.
Acquisition of the "Oberwirt" property in the year 1927 by Lambert Tipotsch from Hintertux. In 1927 it was a small tavern plus a farm with 3 cows!
1951: Grandpa Lambert added a storey as well as the first oil-fired heating for warm water in Tux!
May 1958: marriage of my parents Josef Tipotsch und Notburga Erler!
1963: new construction: the guesthouse. The first rooms with bathroom and toilet - some locals thought Sepp Jäger was crazy!
April 1970: demolition of the old house and completion of the new one in July.
1971: acquision of the property "Altes Haus". This building was one of the oldest in Lanersbach. Father tore it down to make space for a carpark. Now the Jägerschlössl and an underground carpark can be found there.
1981: refurbishment of the old dining hall.
1989: construction of the underground carpark!
1990: Remodeling of the lobby, reception, and sauna, and relocation of the toilets down into the cellar!
1993: renovation of the guesthouse and addition of an underground level for Disco Piccolo!
During construction I took enough time to marry in May and take over my parents' business!
1996: refurbishment of the dining hall, bar and parlour.
Autumn 1997: addition of another level to the guesthouse Jäger. Apartments with tiled stoves for a cosy atmosphere!
1999: addition of a lift, play room, and connective hallyway to the guesthouse!
Jägerschlössl 2003! Start of construction in May, end of construction in September!
Remodeling of our sauna in May 2005!!
Room refurbishing in 2006. We only install hand-made furniture, no factory products.
Autumn 2008 - start of construction at the Hotel Alpenjuwel Jäger in Vorderlanersbach
November 2009 - opening of the Hotel Alpenjuwel Jäger
